Cherokee Steel Supply has one of the largest non-ferrous plate saws in the southeast, offering a large table capacity of  144” x 144”,  with the ability to cut up to 12” thick material. Our MetlSaw plate saw cutting system handles all grades of aluminum and other non-ferrous metals, offering unparalleled speed and accuracy compared to lessor competitor’s saws.  Depending on the application, we can also use the plate saw to handle production bar cuts and often save time over what is conventionally done on a band saw.  Our setup boasts a 50 HP Arbor Motor and Rockwell Automation PLC control interface to enable fully programmable cutting control over your sawing requirements.
